Kyle is a West Virginia native, born to parents Mark and Kimberly Ayers in Beckley. He was raised in Southern West Virginia and graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in Beckley in 2016 where he was a multi-year letterman in wrestling and track. He was also named to the All-State and All-Conference teams for football and is a member of the WWHS Football Hall of Fame.


In pursuing higher education, Kyle attended West Virginia University in Morgantown, WV on scholarship where he played defensive line for the Mountaineers and set several state records in the bench press, squat, and deadlift as a member of the West Virginia University powerlifting team. He graduated in 2020 with bachelor’s degrees in both Psychology and Criminology.


Kyle completed his legal studies at Lincoln Memorial University: Duncan School of Law in Knoxville, Tennessee where he graduated cum laude and in the top one-third of his class. During his time at LMU, Kyle received academic scholarships, worked as a judicial extern to the Honorable Judge William T. Ailor in the Knox County Circuit Court, and secured CALI Awards in Legal Foundations, Multistate Essay Exam Skills, and Conflict of Laws. Kyle was also a member of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society and consistently participated in Veteran’s Free Legal Advice Clinics presented by Legal Aid of East Tennessee.
 
Upon completion of his legal studies, Kyle passed the Tennessee Uniform Bar Exam and was admitted to the Tennessee State Bar. After obtaining licensure, he worked as a litigation associate for Trammell, Adkins, & Ward, P.C. in Knoxville, Tennessee where he practiced various forms of civil litigation across the state of Tennessee, primarily focusing on insurance defense before leaving the firm to return to West Virginia.
 
In addition to his work as a litigator, Kyle serves as consultant and Corporate Counsel to Athlinkd Data Services, a West Virginia-based company specializing in collegiate and high school athletics as well as the NCAA transfer portal.
Kyle accepted a full-time position with Pullin, Fowler, Flanagan, Brown & Poe, PLLC in his hometown of Beckley and was admitted to the West Virginia State Bar in 2024.
 
Kyle is an avid outdoorsman who has a passion for conservation and prides himself on the care and management of America’s wild and public lands. Kyle is married to his wife Taylor Ayers of Bluefield, West Virginia and they are parents to their beloved Norwegian Elkhound, Ruger.
