Chip E. Williams Earns Equity Membership

BECKLEY, WV (August, 2009) โ€“ The law firm of Pullin, Fowler, Flanagan, Brown and Poe is proud to announce that Chip Williams, director of litigation in the firmโ€™s Beckley office, has been elected an equity (owner) member of the firm. He was the youngest person to gain non-equity membership and at 35 is now the youngest person to gain equity membership in the firm.

Mr. Williams is a native of Beckley and has been with the firmโ€™s Beckley office since his graduation from the West Virginia University College of Law in 1999. ย Other early achievements in life to support his character strong work ethic:

  • Summit of Mountain Honorary (The highest Ranking Honorary at WVU) ย for 2 years
  • Presented first closing argument in a Federal Trail at age 26
  • Tried first case at age 27
  • Received The State Journalโ€™s Generation Next โ€œ40 Under 40โ€ award in 2008

During the past ten years Chip has represented governmental entities, corporations and individuals throughout Southern West Virginia. ย While his primary focus is in Civil Rights Litigation and School Law, Mr. Williams has litigated cases involving contract disputes, trucking, general auto defense, mold, construction and products liability.
