Seth was born in Morgantown, West Virginia and has resided there his entire life. For his undergraduate degree, Seth attended the West Virginia University Statler College of Engineering, where he graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Civil Engineering in May of 2017. While in school, Seth took a deep interest in his Morgantown community by participating in outreach programs at the Bartlett and Rosenbaum Houses through his Engineering Fraternity.
After completing his B.S., Seth attended the West Virginia University College of Law, where he graduated with his Juris Doctorate Degree in May of 2020. While in law school, Seth gained practical experience through his summer internships and clinic work. His first summer internship included experience working in Charleston, West Virginia for the West Virginia Secretary of State’s Office as an Elections Division intern. Through this internship, Seth became better acquainted with the state of West Virginia and gained a deeper appreciation for his home state while also learning how both State and Federal elections are conducted in West Virginia.
Seth also worked for a summer in Fairmont, West Virginia at the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office, where he gained practical experience with the litigation process. In his final year of law school Seth was a member of the West Virginia Innocence Project clinic, where he gained experience with post-conviction work and federal court practice procedures.
Seth currently resides in Morgantown to be near his family. In his spare time, Seth enjoys spending time with his family and friends, scuba diving in the summer, and snow skiing in the winter.
