Andrew Byrd and Kameron Miller, acting as defendant attorney coaches, along with Josh Mullins acting as the plaintiff attorney coach, put their skills  to work by holding a Mock Trial for the Cross Lanes Christian School senior class.  The trial took place at the United States District Court in Charleston.

The Defendant was found liable by the Jury for allowing a handgun to be unsecured in her residence, but the Jury awarded the Plaintiff only $546,000.00 [medical costs] which the victim in this case was a 5 year old that was accidently shot and rendered a paraplegic.  Did the plaintiff win?

It was an educational day for all and a good showing of the Firm’s continued dedication to help educate the younger generation.
