Walking the Catwalk  

Gen. Douglas MacArthur said, “If bravery is a quality which knows not fear, then I have never seen a brave man. For the courageous man is the man who, in spite of his fear, forces himself to carry on.”   

That is just what some of the firm attorneys and employees did on Thursday, October 7.   Victor Flanagan, Edgar Poe, Kevin Robinson, Geoffrey Cullop, Kameron Miller, Linnsey Amores and Katie Hicklin faced the fear and revealed their inner strength by being the first group to take the Catwalk tour on the New River Gorge Bridge in Fayetteville, WV.  They said it was hard to describe the feeling of being on a 24 inch strip of steel 850 feet above the river.

The National Park Service and the West Virginia Division of Highways have joined forces to start a new tourist attraction with the famous West Virginia bridge.  They have opened the maintenance catwalk under the bridge to the public for guided tours.  

The group served as guinea pigs in this experiment.  They were extremely happy to oblige and experience a thrill of a lifetime.   It was an incredible experience.
