Pullin, Fowler, Flanagan, Brown & Poe, PLLC, PLLC - Beckley, West Virginia

C. Scott Applegate has recently joined the law firm of Pullin, Fowler, Flanagan, Brown & Poe, PLLC, PLLC as an Associate in their Beckley, West Virginia office.

Mr. Applegate graduated from West Virginia University College of Business and Economics with a Bachelor in Accounting in 2003.

He received his Juris Doctorate from West Virginia University College of Law in May, 2006.  While at West Virginia University, Mr. Applegate received many honors such as the Order of the Barristers, Moot Court Board National Team, Marilyn E. Lugar Trial Association TYLA Team, Mountain Honorary Summit 2005-2006, Appalachian Center for Law in the Public Interest and WVU Federalist Society President 2004-2005.

Mr. Applegate was admitted to the West Virginia State Bar, the United States District Court Southern District of West Virginia and the West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals in October, 2006.  He will practice in the areas of general insurance defense, insurance bad faith litigation, law enforcement defense, municipality defense, personal injury, abuse and neglect and criminal defense.

Mr. Applegate also currently serves in the West Virginia Army National Guard as a Detachment Commander for the 154^th Military Police Company in Salem, West Virginia.
