Morgantown Office History
In 2003 the Firm recognized opportunity and the need to expand into the northern area of the state. Morgantown was identified as the city offering location convenience to the northern client and so the doors to the Morgantown office of Pullin, Fowler, Flanagan, Brown & Poe, PLLC opened on July 1 with three attorneys and one support staff.
It wasn’t long until the Firm knew they had made a wise choice in opening the location. The energetic attorneys were successful in gaining recognition and new clients immediately, becoming a valued source of defense work for the Morgantown Utility Board as well as West Virginia University. In the second year the office grew to seven attorneys and four support staff.
Continuing to grow, the increased staff required a move to their current location at the Cranberry Square Complex in the prestigious Cheat Lake section of Morgantown. Many a client has remarked about the beautiful office setting that abuts the 11th Fairway of the renowned Lakeview Golf Resort & Spa. It is easily found off of Exit #10 of Interstate 68.
The Firm’s “Official Grand Opening” was attended by West Virginia Governor Joe Manchin, State Senator Mike Oliverio, as well as many local business leaders in a ribbon cutting ceremony that was recognized by the media throughout the state.
Today, the Morgantown office attorneys have approximately 55 years of combined practice and have varied legal experiences including, but not limited to practice areas in general insurance defense, county prosecuting, private clients, lobbying, mass toxic& tort, Medical Malpractice, as well as former Judicial law clerks. Our Morgantown office and the entire Pullin, Fowler, Flanagan, Brown & Poe, PLLC firm are noted for “being there” for our clients to help them prevent and reduce litigation exposure through seminars and training. It is our aggressiveness in defending cases and providing services that many law firms do not handle, such a risk management, in response to our client’s legal needs that sets us apart from the others. When our overriding goal is to work for the client’s benefit, everything else seems to fall into place.
