She then moved to Fairmont, West Virginia where she graduated from East Fairmont High School in 2003. Upon graduation Linnsey entered West Virginia University where she received her B.A. in 2006 and graduated Cum Laude in Political Science with a minor in History. Mrs. Amores received her J.D. from the West Virginia College of Law in May 2010. She was admitted to the West Virginia State Bar in 2010 and the Kentucky Bar Association in 2011. Linnsey is married to Jon Amores and they reside on Charleston’s West Side. She has two stepsons, Trey and Marshall. She and Jon love to travel together. They both take great pride in being West Virginians and try to take in all West Virginia has to offer from hiking, camping, whitewater rafting, and ziplining to enjoying world-class theatre productions at the Contemporary American Theater Festival and music performances at Mountain Stage. When not out crossing the state and other parts of the world, and there is some extra time, Linnsey is in the kitchen, as she has a passion for food and cooking.
