Traci L. Wiley was born in
Beckley, West Virginia
on June 24, 1972. She attended Independence High School in
Coal City, West Virginia
. She received an Associate's Degree from Mountain State University, and a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from
Marshall University
in 1994. Traci graduated Magna Cum Laude and received the Pi Sigma Alpha Book Award for the top Political Science graduate in the class of 1994. In the fall of 1996, Traci began her legal education at the University of Kentucky College of Law in
Lexington, Kentucky
. Traci earned her J.D. in 1999, graduating Magna Cum Laude from the
College of Law
.
Following her admission to the West Virginia State Bar that fall, Traci began work with Steptoe & Johnson in
Charleston, West Virginia
as an associate, before coming to Pullin Fowler, Flanagan, Brown & Poe, PLLC in July of 2000. Traci worked as an associate for Pullin, Fowler, Flanagan, Brown & Poe, PLLC, before becoming a member in September of 2005. Since joining Pullin, Fowler, Flanagan, Brown & Poe, PLLC, Traci's practice has included defense litigation, representing insurers, governmental entities, corporations and individuals in a wide variety of civil litigation, including insurance defense, personal injury defense, state and municipal liability, educational liability, contractor liability, insurance coverage and insurance extracontractual liability (bad faith). In addition, Traci has been involved in appellate practice before the West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals, including presenting oral argument before the West Virginia Supreme Court.
Traci is admitted to practice before the West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals and the United States District Court in both the Northern and Southern Districts of West Virginia.
Traci currently resides in Hurricane,
West Virginia
with her husband, Brent, and their two children, Andrew and Jacob.
