Good nature is worth more than knowledge, more than money, more than honor, to the persons who possess it. - Henry Ward Beecher Kevin J. Robinson was born in Cleveland, Ohio to Henry and Brenda Robinson. He was admitted to practice in West Virginia in 2006. Mr. Robinson is a member of the Raleigh County Bar Association, National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, Board of Governors for the West Virginia State Bar, Board of Directors for Legal Aid of West Virginia, and appointed by then Chief Justice Brent Benjamin to the Access to Justice Commission. He is also admitted to practice before the West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals, United States District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. Mr. Robinson received his B.B.A. in Economics from Marshall University in 2000. While at Marshall University, Mr. Robinson was a member of Omicron Delta Epsilon and Vice President of Performances for Alpha Kappa Psi. Kevin went on to attend Thomas M. Cooley Law School, receiving his J.D. in 2006. During law school, he interned at the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office in Detroit, Michigan prosecuting forfeiture and domestic violence cases. Upon completion of his legal studies, Mr. Robinson worked as an Assistant Public Defender for the Kanawha County Public Defender's Office and the Raleigh County Public Defender's Office. As an associate, Mr. Robinson concentrates his practice in insurance defense. He has handled cases pertaining to government liability, product liability, and contract law. In addition, Mr. Robinson defends small businesses in Mass Tort Litigation. Mr. Robinson currently resides in Beckley, West Virginia. He enjoys watching classic movies, cooking Italian food, working out, and reading novels.
