Attorney Profiles

Joshua Charles Dotson is from Pineville, West Virginia .  He graduated from Wyoming East High School in 2000; Immediately after, he began attending classes full time at Mountain State University located in Beckley, West Virginia where he took classes focusing on anatomy, physics, and other classes related to the Health Sciences field. 

In 2002, he was accepted into the Physical Therapy program at West Virginia University located in Morgantown, West Virginia .  In May of 2004, he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies with an emphasis on Human Performance and Health.  He then obtained a Masters degree in Physical Therapy from West Virginia University in August of 2005.  As part of obtaining his Masters in Physical Therapy, he worked with an array of patients in acute care hospitals, as well as in an outpatient sports clinic.

In 2005, he was accepted into the West Virginia College of Law.  During his first summer of law school, he worked full time at Ruby Memorial Hospital as a licensed Physical Therapist.  In this position, he was in charge of coordinating and providing care for acute care patients.  He continued to work as a Physical Therapist part time while attending law school.  He interned at Pullin, Fowler, Flanagan, Brown, & Poe during his second summer of law school.  Upon graduation from the West Virginia College of Law, he accepted a full time associate position at Pullin, Fowler, Flanagan, Brown, & Poe. 

Since being sworn, Mr. Dotson has gained experience by working in various areas of litigation, including:  municipality defense, trucking litigation, pharmaceutical products liability and general personal injury.

Mr. Dotson is an avid cyclist who rides regularly with the local Mountain State Wheelers.  He looks forward to participating with his firm's MS 150 cycling team each year.
