Joseph Hunter was raised in Hurricane, West Virginia and graduated from Hurricane High School in 1995. Mr. Hunter then attended Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia and received Degrees in Political Science and History with a Minor in Sociology. Mr. Hunter continued his education at the University of Dayton School of Law where he was awarded the Dean's Scholarship Award and served as the student representative to the Academic Affairs Board for the School of Law, in evaluating and implementing changes to the curriculum of the Law School. Upon graduation from law school, Mr. Hunter was employed as an Associate in the office of G. Wayne VanBibber & Associates where he practiced in the areas of Family Law and Criminal Defense.
