Jeff Molenda manages the Martinsburg office of Pullin, Fowler, Flanagan, Brown & Poe, PLLC. He represents local governments in matters that include civil rights and tort liability defense, and land use litigation. He also represents clients in insurance coverage, automobile and trucking litigation. The Martinsburg office provides convenient service to Berkeley, Jefferson, Morgan, Hampshire, Grant, Hardy and Mineral Counties in eastern West Virginia. Jeff was born in Niskayuna, New York. He attended Texas Christian University where he graduated in 1977 with a B.A. in French. After serving in the United States Army from 1977 to 1986, he worked in the real estate and insurance businesses in Austin, Texas. He then attended Thurgood Marshall School of Law, Texas Southern University, where he earned his J.D., graduating Magna Cum Laude in 1993. After graduating from law school in 1993, Mr. Molenda entered the practice of law in McDowell County, West Virginia where he focused on helping low income West Virginians get fair treatment from the civil legal process. He continued his work as a public defender in Charleston, West Virginia and accepted assignments of difficult and sensitive cases throughout West Virginia. In 1998, Mr. Molenda entered private practice, working for firms in Charleston and Madison, West Virginia. Jeff has significant experience in automobile and truck negligence, premises security and premises liability, products liability, employment disputes, workplace accidents, oil, gas, timber and other natural resource disputes. He has also served as a mediator in state and federal courts as well as for cases pending before the West Virginia Human Rights Commission. In each instance, Jeff has worked to ensure his clients get fair treatment from the legal process, in addition to resolving disputes as quickly and economically as possible. In addition to his litigation practice, Mr. Molenda serves on the Board of Directors of SAFE, Inc., a domestic violence victim advocacy program in Southern West Virginia.
