Jeff Brannon is a life-long resident of the Kanawha Valley having been born in Charleston, West Virginia, in July 1972 and living in Pinch, West Virginia until he began law school in 1995.  He now resides with his wife, Michelle, and their two children in Scott Depot, West Virginia.  He graduated from the University of Charleston with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in 1994.  In 1998 Jeff received his Juris Doctor from University of Dayton School of Law.  He is a member of the West Virginia State Bar Association and the West Virginia Defense Trial Counsel where he has served as the secretary of the Workers' Compensation Subcommittee.  He is admitted to practice law before the Supreme Court of Appeals of West Virginia, the United States District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia, and the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals.

After law school, Jeff was associated with R. Clark VanDervort practicing general civil litigation for more than a year.  From January of 2000 through January of 2001, Jeff worked as an Assistant Attorney General in the Employment Programs Litigation Unit representing the Workers' Compensation Commission.  The majority of Jeff's work during this period involved defending claims for permanent total disability benefits.

For almost five years, he worked as an associate and partner at Bowles Rice McDavid Graff & Love, PLLC, located in Charleston.  His practice focused exclusively on representing employers, both self-insured and subscribers, in the defense of their workers' compensation claims.  He also served as group leader of the Workers' Compensation Practice Group.

Jeff joined Pullin, Fowler & Flanagan, PLLC in December 2005.
