Attorney Profiles

Heather M. Thayer was born in Fairmont, West Virginia, on February 20, 1975. She currently resides in Morgantown with her husband, Brian, and two children, Ian and Willow.  Boating, exercise and reading are a large part of Heather's life away from the office.

Ms. Thayer was admitted to the West Virginia State Bar in 2000. She is admitted to practice before the West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals, the United States District Court for the Northern and Southern Districts of West Virginia, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.

From August 2000 until March 2006, Heather practiced in defense litigation, representing insurers and corporations in a wide variety of litigation including insurance defense, insurance coverage, insurance extracontractual liability, labor and employment, medical malpractice defense, nursing home negligence defense, ERISA litigation, contract disputes, Lemon law, adoption, criminal defense, divorce, personal injury, condemnation and appellate practice. Ms. Thayer continued her practice when she joined the law firm of Pullin, Fowler & Flanagan, PLLC in April 2006.

Heather attended law school at the WVU College of law, graduating in 2000. During law school, Heather participated in Moot Court and the Lugar Trial Association.

Heather earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from West Virginia University. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from WVU in 1997.
