Ashley Justice graduated Summa Cum Laude from Marshall University in 2003, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in International Affairs and minors in Spanish and Political Science. While attending Marshall University, Ashley earned the Highest Honors in International Affairs award, became certified to teach English as a foreign language, and studied abroad in Madrid, Spain. She graduated from the West Virginia University College of Law in May, 2006 and received the Order of the Barristers award.
Ashley began working as a law clerk in Pullin, Fowler, Flanagan, Brown & Poe, PLLC's Morgantown, West Virginia office during her first year of law school. Upon graduation, she relocated to the Charleston branch of Pullin, Fowler, Flanagan, Brown & Poe, PLLC, where she practiced asbestos, toxic tort and general insurance defense litigation. In October 2007, Ashley returned to her hometown to work in the firm's Beckley, West Virginia office. She is admitted to practice before the West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia, the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the U.S. District Court for the Northern Division of West Virginia.
Ashley Justice was born in Beckley, West Virginia on December 6, 1980. She resided in Port St. Lucie, Florida for five years before returning to Beckley. Ashley enjoys spending time with family, friends, her four dogs - Hunter Brown, Sherman, Max and Maggie, and her cat, Buddy. Her hobbies include rescuing animals, traveling, Shotokan Karate, reading, and motorcycling.
