Andrew D. Byrd was born in Wheeling, West Virginia, on July 15, 1982.  He is from South Charleston, West Virginia and graduated from South Charleston High School in 2001.  Following graduation, he attended West Virginia University where he achieved a degree in accounting in 2004.

In 2005, Andrew was accepted into the West Virginia College of Law.  During law school, Andrew worked in Pullin, Fowler, Flanagan, Brown & Poe's Morgantown office and also clerked during the summers at its Charleston location.  Upon receiving his Doctorate of Jurisprudence in 2008, Andrew accepted full-time employment with Pullin, Fowler, Flanagan, Brown & Poe, PLLC.
